The artistry of pojagi
Discover the time-honored artistry of pojagi, a Korean patchwork technique that weaves together fabric pieces to create beautiful textiles that are lightweight and flexible, with a slightly transparent quality that allows light to shine through. Pojagi is valued for its beauty and functionality, as well as for its sustainability. Because the technique allows for the use of small scraps of fabric.
Today, we continue to practice the technique to create contemporary works of art and beautiful dreamy curtains. Scroll down and get inspired by the photos and find out how to get your hands on a custom-made pojagi curtain.

How to measure your curtains
The length
Placement of the curtain rod
First thing first, you have to decide where to hang the curtain rod. You can place the curtain rod above the window or all the way up below the ceiling. Placing it above the window creates a traditional look, while placing it below the ceiling gives the illusion of higher ceilings and adds elegance to the room. The choice depends on the desired aesthetic and design statement.
Choose the Length of Your curtains
When you know where to place the curtain rod, you can decide on the length of your curtains.
You have to choose if you want your curtains to touch the floor, reach the window sill, or hang slightly lower.
The choice you make will determine how you measure the length of your window.
Window sill hanging
This is a good option if you want to create more space below the window. Typically, rooms with wall radiators or desks prefer curtains that don't block the way. To determine the length for this type of curtain, measure from the top of the curtain rod to the bottom of the window.
Below sill hanging
To find the right length for your curtain, measure from the top of the curtain to your desired distance below the window sill. This
measurement will determine the length of your curtain.
Floor length hanging
For a curtain that hangs all the way to the floor, measure the distance from the top of the curtain rod to the floor. This measurement will be the length you need for your curtain.
The width
To determine your curtain width, measure the total length of your curtain rod without measuring the finals. Multiply this measurement by 1.25 to 1.5 to ensure your drapes will have a beautiful hang.
Choose whether you want curtain tape or curtain loops sewn on. Our curtain loops are 5 cm, so take that into account when considering the total length.
